Our cat has serious genetic heart and respiratory issues. When he was about 4 years old, a previous specialist said he would not likely live past age 6 or 7. That was devastating news. Shortly after that, we heard about Dr. Prošek and went to meet with him. Our cat is almost 12 now, thanks to the care and management by Dr. Prošek and his staff. There have been major medical emergencies along the way and Dr. Prošek has correctly diagnosed and treated each issue. Even when things look the most dire, Dr. Prošek projects a calm, steady approach that gives you confidence. His staff is also terrific. We cannot thank them enough for what they’ve done to help our sweet cat. It’s basically a miracle he’s still alive and doing as well as ever. I really don’t think that would be the case if we hadn’t found Dr. Prošek.

I have been going to Dr. Robert Prošek since 2/2006 to present.

I had an amazing Maine Coon Cat that Dr. Robert Prošek treated & cared for ( directly/indirectly ) for my cats last 7 years of his life. My cat was diagnosed with “AFib” – I know 5 of the Cardiologist Vets in South FL that specialize in this area & when my cat could no longer tolerate the long drive to Homestead – I had no choice but, to go to others for medical treatment. After taking my little girl (Brussels Griffon) to 4 specialists I was finally referred to Dr. Robert Prošek. I handed him all previous blood work/results and he automatically understood where the downfall began. I was so close to losing her. With proper treatment and compassionate care he was able to get her back to her healthy and happy self. I am so grateful for his attention and guidance on the matter. Staff was so friendly and cost was more than acceptable. Vet specialists like Dr. Prošek are hard to come across. Thank you with all my heart!
